Call for papers Special Issue on Arctic Fox Biology and Management

Polar Research is issuing a call for papers for a Special Issue on Arctic fox biology and management. This will bring together the latest thinking about this species present in all Arctic countries. Review articles and original primary research papers dealing with any aspects of Arctic fox biology and management are welcome. The Guest Editors of this Special Issue need to receive ideas for articles (Title/Abstract) in advance of manuscript submission. Pre-selected papers will then be invited to submit a full manuscript, to be peer reviewed. Final acceptance will rest on the Chief Editor of Polar Research, Dr Helle Goldman.

Pre-selected papers will have to be submitted electronically to the Polar Research website www.polarresearch.net, before 31 January 2016. Authors must choose the section Article for a special thematic cluster when submitting online. Papers will be published online as they get ready, starting in January 2017.
Polar Research is an open-access, online journal with broad, multi-disciplinary audience of polar researchers and environmental managers. Publication cost is 180 USD per typeset page, but the first 5 pages are free. Supplementary files are also free. There are no extra costs for colour illustrations. Authors retain the non-commercial copyright to their article. Each author will receive a printed copy of the Special Issue.
